Since the foundation of the Museum of Odesa Modern Art (MoOMA), the main place in its Collection has been devoted to works and archival documents that reflect the development of contemporary art in the city since the 1950s. To date, the museum team has digitized the entire Fund of Modern Art (over 1700 items) and the Archive (over 2800 photos, audio, video, and text documents).

Since 2014, the collection has included the Collection of Odesa Modernist Art of the first 30 years of the twentieth century, whose exhibits were donated for display by the museum's founder Vadym Morokhovskyi. The combination of these two funds allows us to present a coherent and logical history of the development of contemporary art in Odesa.
